Condolences

I noticed that the Frank Frazetta Museum’s online website is shut down, and a quick search told me that Frank Frazetta’s wife Eleanor has passed away.

I spoke at some length with, if memory serves, Frank Frazetta Jr. some years ago when I ordered a signed copy of Cat Girl inscribed by Frank Sr. to my wife. We had a very pleasant series of conversations, and if the child is any reflection of the mother, Eleanor must have been a witty, polite, friendly and charming person.

I am sorry for the family’s loss. She was apparently instrumental in setting up the Frazetta Museum. I hope it will be able to reopen in her absence.

Wasn’t it nice that a guy could draw women who looked like real women? Any that he drew put “thunder thighs” in a positive light.
My thoughts, too, are with the family.
