The interim Honduran government has ordered all of Hugo Chavez’s agents to leave the country.
Honduras’ interim government ordered Venezuelan diplomats on Tuesday to leave the country as the international community threatened new sanctions on the Central American nation if negotiations fail to resolve the crisis.
Venezuelan Embassy charge d’affaires Ariel Vargas said he received a letter from the Honduran Foreign Ministry ordering his diplomats to leave in 72 hours.
Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez has been the most vociferous critic of what he calls the “gorilla” government that overthrew his ally Manuel Zelaya on June 28.
Thee are currently no plans on what to do if these provocateurs don’t’ unass the area, but I’m thinking arrest and civil disobedience charges would be a start.
Wouldn’t it be nice if we could get the same thing passed here? If we did, however, we’d have to expel our own President and that could get messy.
There are plenty of places to expel the Big O to, if it came to that.
For starters, I think that Kenya would HAVE to take him in, since he is, at least, a dual citizen of that nation, and may be a full citizen.
And the Venzies have already said they aren’t planning to leave. I suspect those folks are going to get very hot(no ac), very dry( no water)and very hungry(no local supplies being allowed in. And anybody coming out of the place gets pick up and taken to the air port. Not put on a plane, just taken to the airport and not allowed back out of it.
Sort of like “Terminal” but without Tom Hanks… or a nice airport to live in?
