Frazetta / Flashman

If you haven’t read the Flashman series of novels by George MacDonald Fraser, you’re in for a real treat. Flash for Freedom is particularly fun; Flashy visits the USA, with predictable results.
If you’re not acquainted with Frank Frazetta’s artwork, you’re also in for a treat. I think this may be one of two Flashman books for which he did a cover painting.flashman 2.jpgflashman.jpg

The really frustrating thing is that this image is nowhere to be found in Frazetta’s official gallery store.

If anybody reading this knows of an art print or poster of this painting, I’d love to hear from ya.

Always liked Frazetta’s stuff. I’ve still got a few of his stuff on old ER Burroughs Ace paperbacks, from back when they were 35¢.

I read most of the Flashman books when I was in high school, and stumbled upon them again in the bookstore a few months back. I’ve picked up a couple and have found myself enjoying them again.

I think I’ve read the whole series.

But I never saw this cover before!
