Woke up this morning and turned on C-SPAN 2 to hear Dianne Feinstein saying “…an armed society is a polite society.”
Yes, yes, that’s out of context, she was quoting that phrase in order to try to argue it’s not true (she didn’t make a very good case, either). Still, that was a fun moment. I watched for about thirty minutes, and the Senate debate on the Thune amendment (nationwide CCW reciprocity) seems to be going well for our side, IMO.
