Getting Equipped for the Boomershoot

Since I’ve given up almost 2/3 of the pic over the weekend, feast your eyes on this.

In case you haven’t been following the story, it started out as a simple Rem 700 base model ADL.

I have since had a stainless Hart 27in Heavy Varmit Contour barrel, Jewell HVR trigger, HS Precision stock and Detachable Magazine floorplate installed. The stock has been lengthend to a 15 3/4in pull with the addition of a Graco 3-Way Adjustable butt plate and Pachmayr D550 Decellerator recoil pad.

I will be ordering my Burris rings and bases in the upcoming weeks to have this scope installed on it.

Total cost: Too much for me to admit to in public

Give me a few more weeks to pay the smith off and we’ll see if it shoots as well as it should. I would provide a link to the smith, but he doesn’t have a site. I am trying to remedy that because he does VERY good work. Anyone up for some unpaid voluteer work in that category would be welcome.

I highly recommend, if you haven’t already done so, that you go and check out the Boomershoot site by following this link or the one in the upper right hand corner of the site. While the Boomershoot Clinic is no longer open (though stand-by applications are still being accepted) there are still spots on the firing line open for that Sunday.

Check it out!

    Sweet weapon!

You can adjust your blogroll now. The Ville is done. Thanks for all your support. Keep up the good fight against leftist hatemongers and hypocrites. RNS rules!

Thanks for the compliment. One of these days, we’ll see if we can get it down to KY or get you up to the Boomershoot.

The Ville had a good run. I’ll keep it in the roll for a while before I take it down.

We’ll see you around and don’t be a stranger. If you ever get a hankerin’ to just rant, let me know and we’ll get you spot, though I’m sure Dodd will have one for you too.

    Take care Brent.

Thanks for the link Ry. I suppose I could try something like that out. I think I’ll try it on one of my Rugers first though.

Received the flowers and candy this morning. Thank you.

Analog, I would like to ask you some sincere questions.
Exactly who do you fight against and who is it that you are fighting for. I mean, what is it that you represent? Is it George Bush and the modern Republican party and their agenda that you give your allegiance to?
I voted for Bush. I voted for Bush, not because I believe in the NEW Liberal Republican party, but because I hate the modern psychotic Democrats.
I also hate bimbo militant feminists, not women, the nazi gay faction, not homosexuals, and illegal immigration, not “hispanics”.
I get the impression AnalogKid, that you, like me, are a blue collar working class white male.
Do you think that the Republicans are standing up for you and your culture? And your future?

  6. AnalogKid says:

Heya Sid, thought you might like those. Welcome back.

As per your questions, I dont fight directly anymore. That can prove to be a losing battle. I am a subversive. I like to stick my finger in the ear of those I deem to be a danger to my 2A rights and make their brains tingle.

If you read around the archives, you will read anecdotal stories about how members of my family used to be lobbyists for a number of statewide and national 2A groups. As I was coming of age, we were set upon by the government and private agencies with harassing movements. Multiple police automobile stops per week was their favorite item of business. Multiple search warrants looking for obscure items that they had little to no proof of actually being on the property, signed by a judge who was not private about his hatred for the 2nd was their next favorite.

Get your house tossed once by the ATF and you begin to dislike them. Twice and you begin to find ways to make their lives suck without getting into trouble.

I represent nothing. Those who stand up the tallest make great silhouettes and targets. Infiltrate and help them implode is my preferred method as of now.

That is why I am an anonyblogger. I want those who want to know who I am to have to work at it a bit and earn their prize.

As for GWB, no, I do not see him as the great white hope. Although, he is a hell of a lot better than the alternative, in either case.

I give my allegiance to no one. My kind word today can turn poisonous tomorrow.

I voted for Bush for the exact same reason you did. In my early days, I wrote that while I would trust Bush with my truck and would walk a bird line with him, I wouldnt trust him or any other politician with my liberty.

I hate very, very little. People who wish to do me and my family harm, possibly, but I save actual hate for those who deserve it. I have varying degrees of dislike or disdain for a decent number of people. My list is close to yours.

I was blue collar but after seeing what manual labor does to people physically after decades of doing it, I have moved into the office work. My body is deteriorating fast enough as it is, I dont need to beat it up every day for money.

Again, I trust no one but myself for my future and I am standing prepared for any person or group tries to take that future from me.

As for my culture, I dont so much worry about that. Cultures evolve and devolve over time, and sometimes, depending on certain circumstances and catastrophic events such as war or mother-nature, suddenly. Provided that things such as pedophilia and cannibalism never become the norm, I think that my culture war will stay in the arena of nurturing people to become owners of firearms and then to spread that nurturing around themselves.

    Anything else?
