A Republican legislative candidate in Virginia, Catherine Crabill, forgets to mention Boxes #1 & #3 during a speech at a Tea Party and the left is screaming terrorist.
You have to wonder what Crabill will do if she fails at the ballot box. Get out her bullets?
This particular threat, voiced with these phrases — that, failing “the ballot box,” people will turn to “the bullet box” — has been around for awhile. It was fairly common in use among militia leaders of the 1990s, and was often used as a kind of threat.
That is from local hate-mongering blowhard, David Neiwert. I’m sure that if Neiwert actually knew what he was talking about he’d take a moment to inform his readers as to the origins of Ms. Crabill’s statement.
On second thought, while he still hasn’t the foggiest idea what he is talking about (you’ll see that his source has corrected it’s quote of Crabill), he enjoys only giving out as much information as it takes to keep his sycophants riled up. If circumstances change, he does not update his postings to cool down the flaming hatred seethed by his readers. That would mean being honest.
For a guy who spends his days whining about O’Reilly and Beck, he sure is from that same mold.
The Ballot or The Bullet predates the “90’s militia movement” and was also the theme of a speech given by Malcolm X. Mr Neiwert’s messiah, our current White House occupant, refers to
as Daddyin his book “Dreams From My Father” as the Black author who resonated most with him.So I guess for people seeking freedom, it was ok, but for people on the brink of enslavement, it’s too much.
Crabill was on her soapbox, and given the state of liberal activist judges, the jury box is already gone.
So I think she was right, ballot box or bullet box.
Ah, the discussion of the four boxes.
1. the Soap box: we’ll always have that one, until the Left makes it illegal to have any opinion but theirs. Additionally, the BEST and Biggest soapbox (Television) is already owned by the Social Communists.
2. the Jury Box: What the Jury has to say matters little when the liberal activist judges have already made up their minds.
3. the Ballot box: is increasingly becoming irrelevant, considering how well ACORN and their ilk have diluted the voter pool with their criminal fraud.
It would take a MASSIVE incident to jolt most American voters out of their TV haze. Unfortunate, because it would take a decade of 90% voter turnout to reverse the Social Communist movement of our great country.
I despair for my country and for my children.
but if it comes to reaching for the ammo box; I’d perfer it to happen on my watch, than on my children’s.
the Ammo Box: box of last resort. Box which no sane individual even dreams of reaching for… it is the box that PROVES that we have failed to “keep the Republic”; thus it is a box of shame.
I pray every day that we can win with the ballot box.
