RNS Quote of the Day: 07/23/09

Good fences make good neighbors.

OK, maybe not “good” neighbors in this instance. But at least they’re reasonably tolerable at this locale.

I hear they are saying today that because it is quiet, it’s possible to take down the fence. My friends, the opposite is true. It’s quiet because a fence exists.

So many people advocate of solutions to “bring peace” to the Holy Land that will do the exact opposite.

    I never have understood the left’s opposition to the security fences Israel has had to resort to. It’s a nonviolent solution after all.

    You forget that the “solutions” the left proposes will have the eventual effect of the extermination of Jews and the destruction of Israel, which of course is exactly what the left desires.
