My buddy and I were out there on business and visited our law school classmate who was a grad student. He was a Californian but had “gone native” to the point that he could wander around outside in t-shirt and jeans without bitching — at 32 degrees F. I don’t envy Fred touring right now; he’s not gonna be a happy camper in winter in Iowa.
