While in college I traded my ZZ-Top 6-pack CD set for my roommates Sony Walkman. I got a lot of use out of that Walkman, but it was still the worst trade I ever made.
I remember listening to ZZ Top back in 1969, when they were not as well known; they’ve put out some good stuff over the years.
Good heavens, BobG, I was BORN in 1969. That you listened to ZZ Top that early in their career makes you worthy of awe — like the ultimate insider, or someone blessed with special knowledge, or great wisdom, or something like that.
Maybe not enough awe for me to follow you and do your evil bidding — but close. Kudos to you for obvious great taste in music at a young age!
