Dirt Nap Voting

Even with the more than a year after our Governor’s Election debacle and even after the federal deadline for each state to square away their voting rolls, Washington still proves itself to be a solidly Democrat stronghold with one simple fact: There are still 11,500 dead people on the statewide voting roster.

A statewide computer sweep of voter registration records in Washington found 11,500 voters listed as dead by the state Health Department.

The sweep this month also found 36,000 voters who appear to be registered in two counties. The manager of the new $6 million database project, Pam Floyd, says the names have been flagged for further scrutiny.

Our Governor’s election was decided by less than 190 votes and yet there seems to have been over 45,000 people who shouldn’t have voted in the state.

Democrats call that hunky-dory. The Repubs called that time for a revote.

I still think the state quarter design should reflect these realities.

    “Flagged for further scrutiny”?

Well now, statistics fans, since the last Gobernador election turned on a tiny fraction of 1% of the vote, those dead voters and those multiply-registered voters are a BIG DEAL.

Where’s the Jimmah when you need him there? He should be in Oly-land harping that no fair election can be held (that includes King County, anyway) until the disCRAPancies are cleared up.

But, Jimmah won’t go to Oly. He won’t go because his vaunted powers of election observation have a set of blinders on. Wile observing the good Socialist sheeple of the world casting their multiple votes FOR socialists, he never seems to catch any of those FUBARs, only when conservatives vote once, each and only, for THEIR candidates does he seem to care.

Why doesn’t the GOP file a lawsuit that will postpone elections until these “flagged for further scrutiny” registration are cleaned up, TO THE LAST FILE?
