My last post on an electric TEOTWAWKI scout bike got panned quite roundly.
I’m thinking this one might be a better plan anyway, except maybe for the price (which I’m sure will come down in the coming months/years).

Still too spendy, and using older E-MoLi batteries as well.
Talk to these folks about buying a kit with LiFePO4 batteries:

Then search ebay for LiFePO4, and buy a prismatic battery pack. I suggest buying from Li Ping, as he has earned a good rep on the endless-sphere forum.
Figure maybe 1 mile per Ah, at 36 Volts.
