Important Action Alert (Bandwidth Blowout)

That was what the leftards at MyDD would call the blog posts they’d toss up whenever the folks they “got elected” weren’t doing exactly what the leftosphere wanted them to do.

It looks as though the Paulistinians have actually perfected the practice what with them showing up whenever “The Only Man Who Can Save America” has something to say.

Hell, the item the alert is about doesn’t even have to be a reality to get them in a huff.

Ron Paul said the decision to exclude him from a debate on Fox News Sunday the weekend before the New Hampshire Primary is proof that the network “is scared” of him.

“They are scared of me and don’t want my message to get out, but it will,” Paul said in an interview at a diner here. “They are propagandists for this war and I challenge them on the notion that they are conservative.”

Paul’s staff said they are beginning to plan a rally that will take place at the same time the 90-minute debate will air on television. It will be taped at Saint Anselm College in Goffstown.

They’ll be there alone, seeing as how the “debate” in question has been cancelled for weeks.

I guess that if you’re gonna be a freak, you might as well be the best freak you can be. Sounds to me like Paul is attempting to become “The Smartest man in America”. I just hope he never finds out how well that ploy worked for Hillary.

  1. Rivrdog says:

OK, a quick and dirty FINAL analysis of the Paulster. It will save me the trouble of writing one in a couple of weeks when he has finally cratered to EVERYONE’S definition.

He started as a Texas conservative, and one known for being relatively effective in TX politics, as they go down there. TX DOES have some STRANGE politics, and even they admit it, but Paul seemingly knew how to navigate that maze.

He was also a Man of the Cloth, which is an important thing for a conservative to be, but only if the conservative can balance his religion with his politics.

He was not originally a Libertarian, but leaned that way. Leaning that way is OK for a conservative, in fact, it’s practically required.

Then, not necessarily in this order, he made some changes in his political personna: He accepted the mantle of the Big-L people to be their Glorious Leader (huge mistake – he thought he was immune to the toxin of the Lyndon LaRouche poison pill, maybe?), he started using his academic title (HUGE mistake – with the total takeover of 99.9% of the educational establishment by loony leftards, people don’t trust ANYONE with the first name of Doctor unless they are a MEDICAL doctor, and even then, not all the time), then he went straight over to the leftists with his antiwar position. No more needs to be said about that. Even if you buy all the blandishments of isolationism, a conservative HAS to support war against Islamic jihadists, and given the nature of their tactics, that means war anywhere, anytime they can be found.

To add it all up, what do we have with Paul? Check the conservative boxes with me:

    1. Religious? Yes, but what God is that he’s praying to that doesn’t mind Islamic jihadism? The only one I know of is Allah.

    2. Libertarian? Yes, but WAY overboard, to the point of negating the GOOD things about government that it has actually done for everyone, and that includes conservatives. He shoots himself in the foot EVERY time he draws his anti-government gun.

    3. Isolationist? A little would be OK (remember President Washington’s caution about “foreign entanglements”), as long as it didn’t interfere with commerce, but his isolationism throws out the baby with the bathwater, and is WAY overboard.

    4. Security? The number one security threat to the USA is Islamic jihadism, and the number two threat is unbridled illegal immigration. The “good Doctor” goes the wrong way on both.

Anything to like here? No, move along, please.
