I’d really rather blog

But life keeps getting in the way.

I got home from the workout this morning to find little big man Russell in a serious state of “distress”.

Basically, he couldn’t walk without whimpering.

So we whimpered him to the car and then off to the vet’s office where we found that he seriously overdid it, whatever “it” may have been. Hopefully it was more amorous intentions like last time.
So, after a steroid shot and an anti-inflammatory, and maybe something else to help ease the ouch, Russell has been ordered on two weeks of “not moving a whole lot”.

After this first week of working out, I’m whimpering quite a bit too. Good thing I think most doctor’s offices smell like sickness and/or death. or I might be asking for two weeks off as well.

Anyway, music tomorrow, not today. Must sleep. Also, possibly a report on my new favorite cartoon.

Have a nice day.

Sorry to hear it! I’m taking the doggies to the vet today too. Alaska has either a foxtail slowly crawling across his ribcage or a case of mange — either way, he’s ripped out a sizeable patch of hair from his side.

I don’t remember foxtails being an issue with dogs when I lived North of the California border — perhaps because of the rain Up There. Do you Oregon/Washington dog owners Fear the Foxtail too?
