Judge Juggs here, and court is now in session!
Our first order of business is to select two judicial interns. I have six lovely candidates for the position, but can only select two.
First, there’s Dora:
Dora is a fine law student and a Moot Court star who really knows how to ride an argument into the ground.
Next, there’s Marcelle:
Marcelle is a Law Review editor who can see both sides of a legal issue; in fact, she’s always ready with two fine points.
Next up is Mele:
They say when the law’s on your side, argue the law. When the facts are on your side, argue the facts. Mele has tremendous capacity to milk either the facts or the law for all they’re worth.
And of course, dear Maria:
Maria is just bursting with her passion for the law. She can barely be contained!
After much deliberation, and taking all these young ladies under advisement, my choice is clear: the final pair, Connie and Kelly, shall be my interns. Why? Although I am known to be partial to brunettes over blondes, these two fine candidates are not only legal experts in their respective bodies of law, but are also excellent shots.
And now, if you’ll excuse me, court is adjourned. My interns and I are off to the range to poke some holes in various and sundry targets!
