Limit families to two children “to combat climate change”
The world’s population increases by 1.5m each week and babies born in the UK will use more greenhouse gases during their lifetime than those born in the developing world.
Two doctors, writing in the British Medical Journal, suggest that doctors should talk to their patients about climate change and encourage them to think about the consequences of having a big family.
Crap like this makes me want to have children just to piss them off.
While the doctors aren’t pushing for limiting the number of children, they don’t necessarily disagree with the idea.
Actually, the old reasons to have many children are going to be valid again soon: hand farming. More kids = more strong backs to till your land and produce your food.
The fewer new socialists born, the better. However, I’m (of course) 100% against a government mandate on how many/few children anyone should have.
