While David and I were off Boomershooting, it seems that the SCOTUS let loose a 6-3 decision to uphold Voter ID requirements.
A salute to Justices Alito, Scalia, Thomas, Stevens, Roberts and Kennedy.
If I could, I’d send you each a case of beer, but since I cannot, I’ll just tip one back to you.
Speaking of beverages, both David and I brought gifts for Bob and Kenda Tribble, the proprietors of Trib’s Place (the Official residence of RNS during Boomershoot and somewhere you should visit if you’re anywhere near the area).
David brought the very delectable MacAllan 18.
I brought an assortment of beers from my local retailer of 850+ brews, 99 Bottles.
Sadly, Trib had recently undergone knee surgery and was not actually supposed to be allowed alcohol. However, ignoring doctor’s orders is a great American pastime, and a drop or two may have made it past his teeth. Of the available selection, the Arrogant Bastard Oaked Ale was a big hit. It has also rather quickly become one of the big hits at RNS Blogstation Tacoma as well, which is why I bought a few extra with me to Idaho.
