I would like to know his motivation

Not that it would make me wish him any less harm

Federal prosecutors say a Boeing employee has been charged with vandalizing a military helicopter at a factory in suburban Philadelphia.

Prosecutors say 32-year-old assembly line worker Matthew Kevin Montgomery was charged with cutting the wires on an H-47 Chinook helicopter. U.S. Attorney Patrick Meehan says investigators are still trying to determine who damaged a second helicopter at the plant.

I’m sure that some locals here will try and blame it on frustration over losing the tanker plane contract, but since this guy is in Philly, I don’t think that is a reasonable excuse.

…and I’ll bet that if a warrant to search his computer was obtained, every blog listed thereon would be left of Dail Kos.

In the long ago, about 1985 or thereabouts, I was working in a small shipyard in Seattle where we had a contract to do some mods on a USN Torpedo Chaser. One of the workers, a leftist peacenik nutcase “vandalized” the ship by dropping a loose bolt into the reverse gear. When the investigation was over, said nutcase was tried for sabotage of a US Warship and convicted. He will be eligible for release in about ten more years. I see no reason sabotaging an army helicopter should net this traitor any less than those thirty five years hard labor.
