Can they sink any faster?

Just to put them out of their misery?

Teachers at a primary school have been ordered to dress up as Muslims to promote multi-culturalism.

The West Midlands school is belatedly celebrating the Muslim festival of Eid and told its pupils and teachers to don traditional Muslim dress for the day.

All 257 pupils, most of whom are Christians, and 41 teachers – two of whom are Muslims – dressed up.

A morning assembly was held to mark the event and an afternoon party was strictly for women only, because Muslim husbands object to wives mixing with other men.

Sally Bloomer, head of Rufford primary school in Lye, West Midlands, told The Sun: “I have not heard of any complaints. It’s all part of a diversity project to promote multi-culturalism.”

But a relative of one of the staff reportedly said: “Who would put their job on the line? They have been told they have to embrace the day to show their diversity. But they are not all happy.”

“Noot it awl hapy?” Of course they’re not. They’re having their faces rubbed in the dirt and made to pay for the privilege.

Note that some places in the US are not very far behind the UK

The University of Delaware subjects students in its residence halls to a shocking program of ideological reeducation that is referred to in the university’s own materials as a “treatment” for students’ incorrect attitudes and beliefs. The Orwellian program requires the approximately 7,000 students in Delaware’s residence halls to adopt highly specific university-approved views on issues ranging from politics to race, sexuality, sociology, moral philosophy, and environmentalism. The Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE) is calling for the total dismantling of the program, which is a flagrant violation of students’ rights to freedom of conscience and freedom from compelled speech.

The university’s views are forced on students through a comprehensive manipulation of the residence hall environment, from mandatory training sessions to “sustainability” door decorations. Students living in the university’s eight housing complexes are required to attend training sessions, floor meetings, and one-on-one meetings with their Resident Assistants (RAs). The RAs who facilitate these meetings have received their own intensive training from the university, including a “diversity facilitation training” session at which RAs were taught, among other things, that “[a] racist is one who is both privileged and socialized on the basis of race by a white supremacist (racist) system. The term applies to all white people (i.e., people of European descent) living in the United States, regardless of class, gender, religion, culture or sexuality.”

The university suggests that at one-on-one sessions with students, RAs should ask intrusive personal questions such as “When did you discover your sexual identity?” Students who express discomfort with this type of questioning often meet with disapproval from their RAs, who write reports on these one-on-one sessions and deliver these reports to their superiors. One student identified in a write-up as an RA’s “worst” one-on-one session was a young woman who stated that she was tired of having “diversity shoved down her throat.”

I’m sure that the RA took that statement to be sexually charged and that the girl was immediately sent to counseling and badgered until she admitted which male chauvinist pig had caused her to think of something so horrible.

I’ve never been to Delaware.

I work in Delaware. This state is run by D’s, and many of the R’s here end in INO. You can judge the state by the fact that Joe Biden is one of the Senators.

This program isn’t much different than what a lot of colleges have been doing for years, except they just documented the program and their intentions better than most.

Maybe one day we’ll all be wearing burkas to work. Then everybody will love eachother and there will be world peace. My co-blogger and I wrote a blog on the same topic.

There is a story on FIRE’s website about the University of Delaware killing the Communist Indoctrination speech code. At least for the near term.

No doubt FIRE and others will be giving UoD the evil eye for a good long while….

I lived in Delaware for about a year, in the home of a long time high school English teacher. Prior to this, I had heard all kinds of horror stories about schools. They were like fairy tales compared to what this guy was able to tell me about.

How about a high school principal that had failed the certification test something like 4 times in a row over the course of several years and was still the principal? That certification is a prerequisite to being hired, or so the law says. Oh, did I mention that he had lost his drivers license for multiple DUI convictions while he was the principal? And that he still drove to work every day? He left his official marked parking spot empty and parked in the regular teacher lot so it wouldn’t be so obvious. He had gotten drunk while at school several times and had to be driven home since he was physically incapable of even getting himself into his car.

As bad as that is, I got the real scoop on teachers and students and various administrators and the stuff that went on. It was truly amazing.

I’ve been good friends with teachers in several other states and they could never come up with anything like even the milder things going on in Delaware.

But, hey, they don’t have sales tax so I guess that evens it up, right?
