Saying so long to a local landmark

It is said that when the foundation has been destroyed, it is truly the end.

Lights out happened years ago, but with the removal of the concrete it is truly the end.

So long, Midway.

Oh my. I didn’t know. That is one of the two (the other being Mt. Rainer) sights I remember when my wife and I first drove into town for my first job (Boeing Aerospace in Kent) out of college. That big sign made an impression on me and we never once visited the theater.
