I’ve been holding back

In order to keep my Christmas spirits up, I’ve been holding back some of the vitriol this week. Three very big local developments, news-wise, have hit the wires and I’ve failed to say a word about them.

Part of it is because of the reason stated above, that it is getting near Christmas and writing about them would just put me too foul a mood to be “Merry for Christmas, but the other reason is that it has taken me until today to be able to think about them without wanting to beat a hippie with an ax handle.

Seeing as how even Seattleite hippies aren’t as fragile as my keyboard, I figured I’d just let then anger die down a bit before writing about them, but now it is too late. So let me gather my thoughts and I’ll hit you with one a day starting on Monday.

In the meantime, enjoy the Christmas oriented wine, women and song (minus the wine) offered here this weekend and we’ll catch you all later. I’ve got my posts for tomorrow loaded into the hopper and it looks as though The Professor will be making a Santa-style drop off of his holiday pics from his school early tomorrow morning.

Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy Hanukah! *

* For everyone who isn’t celebrating either of these holidays, lumps of coal for you (heading your way at 900fps, so duck!)
