I realize it’s a subjective thing, but to you, how does the recoil of 10mm compare to .45acp in a 1911?
Firehand; not a lot of difference, though you might call the 10 mm full house loads a little “snappier”. The muzzle blast is also more snappy, as it’s a higher pressure round (37.5K psi vs. 21K)
I’ve talked to a number of people who flat love 10mm, but never have had a chance to shoot one.
Is it still considered hard on slides/frames, or has that been dealt with?
