Danke Ho Tay

I’d like to thank everyone for their get well soon wishes over the past couple days. Things within Casa De Analog are slowly improving and I was able to lay almost horizontally for about an hour yesterday.

I went in for a more extensive set of x-rays yesterday afternoon and will be showing my mug at the physician’s office this morning to have her take a look-see and let me know what she thinks.

Other than that, I’ve just been watching my recently delivered Aeon Flux DVDs and re-watching the Star Wars and Harry Potter series of movies to try and keep the boredom to a minimum. Reading was nearly impossible due to nearly day long double vision from the medication and the endless coughing. Typing was even more frustrating.

I think that I’ll clean all my guns today as I’ve tired of the TV as an entertainment tool and I keep wanting to go to the range, but with more snow advisories in the weather forecast, I just can’t believe that doing so would be to my advantage physically.

Also, as one RNS regular, NordicThug, stated in his email,

Be advised, it will be a good month before your head is screwed on right again. Be got-dam careful doing things like shooting and driving your car.

I have been avoiding leaving the house for any reason besides medical trips, not only because I feel like shit and because the wife has to drive (she drives a car I have to fold myself into), but also because with the medications I’m on, I don’t really think I should be packing. Yeah, I could find cover and draw, but I’m not so sure about hitting an intended target due to the aforementioned double vision.

Anyway, I’ll hopefully be able to get back to work ASAP as I’m sure the tasks there are piling up and I’ll keep everyone posted from here. Thanks again, AK
