Great analysis — the old fighter attack pilot strikes again.
They’re not supportive of real heros, only fake ones like Obama.
Boardwalk banner torn. woman arrested
A 21-year-old Sussex County woman was arrested for allegedly ripping down a Hometown Heroes banner near the Rehoboth Beach bandstand.
Mytia T. Dorman, of the 18000 block of Chaplins Chapel Road east of Bridgeville, was charged with criminal mischief, criminal impersonation and a failure to appear capias following the incident about 12:45 a.m. Monday. The Hometown Heroes banners, featuring Delaware soldiers killed in action in Iraq and Vietnam, had been displayed throughout the summer in the area of the Bandstand and the Boardwalk, said Rehoboth Beach Detective Kevin Jones.
Police received a call that a woman in a red Obama t-shirt was trying to climb a pole that holds two of the local heroes banners.
I’m sure that, like with the arrests of so called “journalists” who were arrested for interfering with the arrests of rioters and then resisting arrest themselves, the left will vilify her. Check out the photo accompanying the aritcle. She sure seems to be happy to have been caught.
Found at the Target Rich Environment
Seeing as how at least CBS and NBC decided that it was more important to broadcast their commentators talking amongst themselves than Fred Thompson’s speech at the RNC last night, here is the video.
Well worth your time.
You all saw this yesterday. I’m just saving it here for posterity.
If McCain wins, look for a full-fledged race and class war, fueled by a deflated and depressed country, soaring crime, homelessness – and hopelessness!
Reach to my left. Pick up PRT-91.
Insert magazine.
Grasp cocking lever and pull back.
Release.
OK, Ms. Ali. I’m ready whenever you are.
Apparently, she missed my last post from yesterday.
That was fast.
First, as he was in life, racing legend Phil Hill passed away on Friday.
Then Monday, The Snowman, Jerry Reed went eastbound and down.
And now yesterday, the voice that sold a thousand movies, Don LaFontaine, was silenced.
Damn.
I took the last week, in coordination with my vacation from work, off from political topics in the hopes that it would mellow me out a bit.
Unfortunately, it seems that I couldn’t have made a more horrible mistake. You see, I now have the urge to physically punish those to whom my wealth is nothing more than a dollar amount they can divide and redistribute.
I’m not talking about the left’s silly Denver antics or even their proto-fluff with Mrs. Palin over the holiday weekend. Those are, while very annoying and proof that they are the true mysoginists, only trivial matters.
I’m speaking of those who see nothing wrong with the residents a terrorist state calling American’s homes in an attempt to get them to vote for Barack Obama.
Those who see Obama’s life as full of achievements, and Palin’s as nothing all that special.
The very same folks who want me to believe in man-made global warmening, or something, whilst I can sit and watch glacial ice sheets form.
Those people need to be physically punished for coercion, subterfuge, and lying to me. And I’m not talking about just a slap. I want to put them heels, ass and shoulders on the pavement and maybe bonk their head on the asphalt a couple times until they apologize.
So, apparently, relaxation is not entirely a good thing.
If you take the frog (aka: Me) out of the slowly warmening pot of water (aka: Daily Political Reading) and then, after the pot gets nice and piping hot, drop him back in, he wants to jump around a bit.
Needless to say, I won’t be going out in public for a few days. This is Seattle, after all, and assault charges means the suspension of my CPL.
And to any folks who fit the above qualifications that may swing through these hallowed halls, this is not meant as a threat to you. While you are complete pillocks, you are also Americans and entitled to your individual points of view, no matter how insipid or hate-filled. Just don’t go getting in my face about it, as there are three points on your body that, when properly impacted, make you need an ER, and don’t even bruise.
Local gunnie, the Gay Cynic, is thinking of a gathering for brunch in the not too distant future.
I’ve said I’ll be there. How about the rest of you locals?
With a twist.
I want you to guess at who said it.
I also want you to tell me what it means to you.
You can find it easily enough with Google-Fu, but think about and answer those two questions before you go ruining it for yourself, mmm-kay?
Here you go
If simple folks are free from care and fear, simple they will be.
Thanks.
To attack your political opponent for taking money from folks who are also giving you wheelbarrows full of cash.
Gregoire getting same donations that ads attack Rossi for
The political contributions from drug and insurance companies that have become fodder for attack ads against Republican Dino Rossi are also fueling Gov. Chris Gregoire’s campaign, the state Democratic Party and Evergreen Progress, the political action committee behind the negative ads.
“The brazenness of them, to make these attacks when they are getting money from the insurance companies, is pretty astounding,” said Mary Lane, a spokeswoman for the state Republican Party. “Why let the facts get in the way of a good negative ad?”
……
Evergreen Progress paid for the ads and the Web site, which includes detailed spreadsheets that show drug and insurance companies and their employees contributed nearly $82,000 to Rossi since 1996.
But state public disclosure records show that Gregoire received more than $122,000 in campaign contributions from drug and insurance companies and their employees in the same period.
In addition, Evergreen Progress has received $1 million from the Democratic Governors Association, which is also funded by drug and insurance companies.
The Washington state Democrats also have been the recipients of more than $1 million of DGA contributions.
Rick Desimone, the chairman and sole spokesman for Evergreen Progress, was unavailable for comment.
Sadly, Dino is too nice a guy to point these facts out in an ad of his own. And when a group of Rossi supporters put an ad that mentions these facts onto the airwaves, they will be labeled by the Dems as “a vicious attack dog group”.
