   To get things correct. John McCain was not a fighter pilot. He was an Attack Pilot. The A-4 Skyhawk was not a fighter. That is why there is the “A”.
   I spent the buld of my career in the Attack community, in the A-6 Intruder and one tour in the A-7 Corsair II. The fighters were the F-4 Phantom II and the F-14 Tomcat.
   The F/A-18 guys are known as FAGs for Fighter-Attack Guys. This is not made up. It was actually on an Intruder website.
   I realize, that to most it is nitpicking. However we who were in Attack Squadrons consider ourselves the point of the sword in the Carrier Air Wing.

   The only other nit I would pick is that it would appear that McCain was already inside Obam-uh’s OODA loop before he added her to the ticket and this looks to increase the gap.
