Tangentially Related to the Budweiser Post….

This is not a SHOT Show item, but I’m sure it would have been a hit if it were.

I’m not a fan of the blended whisk(e)ys, myself, but when you’re down to drinking the canned stuff, who’s arguing?

    I dunno, David. The linked site seems to fear that the whisky will somehow leach aluminum with all THOSE problems.

    I seem to remember a “how it’s made” segment on commercial canning which said that the interior coating of the can may be modified to account for all sorts of varying PHs of the contents.

    For that matter, if it was REALLY an issue, why would the the whole “metal beer bottle” thing have been introduced, or how about the burgeoning market in metal bottles for the water-sipping folks?

    No, any taste problems with the whiskey can’t be blamed on the cans, they must be put on the distillery where they belong.
