   The commenter “Midwesterner” had it right over there.

   “What will happen is that the government/treasury/federal reserve will be unable to sustain the economic model and the currency will fail. Government will lose the ability to bribe people with their (and others’) children’s futures.”

   That pretty much sums it up for me, but I note that all of those commenters put off the reckoning for forty years or so.

   I disagree with them, and think the reckoning will come within the next few years, as far as a monetary collapse goes.

   The monetary collapse, when it happens, will be global. The European and Asian socialists can’t isolate themselves from this reckoning, since they’ve been seizing true wealth and re-issuing phony wealth a lot longer than we have.

   The global collapse will not be Orwellian, it will be Malthusian, and will result in 1/3 of the planet’s population dying in famines and wars within a generation of it’s onset.

   You are either prepared to swim in that sea of uncertainty, or you are going to drown in it. There will be no middle ground.
