It’s possible some of you may not have heard of Red’s Trading Post, Idaho’s oldest gun shop, which is fighting hard against what really and truly appears to be an unjust vendetta by the ATF to shut down a number of NW FFLs, including Red’s. They’ve gotten a lot of press in 2nd-Amendment circles.
One way to support them is to buy from their online gun auctions. I’ve been vocal about the wonderful things you can do at unbelievable distances if you start shooting specialty pistols — especially plain old T/C Contenders and Encores. Well, if you have a Contender sitting around but haven’t taken the plunge to buy a pistol barrel for it, you could do worse than scratching that itch and supporting Red’s at the same time!
Red’s has a number of T/C products auctioned on GunBroker and the auctions are ending soon.
Just off the top of the list as I write this Sunday evening I see:
10″ Contender barrel in .218 Bee
10″ Contender barrel in .221 Fireball
14″ SSK Contender barrel in .30-30
