First up, RNS reader Mike G. has started a blog, titled ‘Mr. Completely’, for the mindless hell of it (his words, but I agree).
You may remember Mike as the gentleman whom I accompanied to the bowling pin shoot last month.
Next, reader DirtCrashr has a blog titled Anthroblogogy that I just found via the Carnival of Cordite this weekend.
He has coined a new term (at least new to me, so I am crediting him with it),
‘Bench Bling’
The word seems to cover any hot-shit or fancy item used in the shooting sports that will get ooh’s and ahh’s from fellow shooters.
As soon as I can figure out what happened to the blogrolls, these guys are going right up there. In the meantime, use these links to go check them out.
I coined a word? Holy crap! 🙂 Mostly I guess I mean it in a way that applies to what I think of as the bitchin’ coolness of machinist-made mechanical bits: lightly oiled polished surfaces, finely cut threads, knurling, etc. Stuff that gives me an excuse to photograph it and make a post.
