I think Rodger is going to be fuelling his B-52 up and making a run over Olympia. Better tell my mom to duck.

JUST SAY NO to the Rafah/Olympia sister city proposal. Rafah is NOT anything like St. Tomas in Nicaragua that the city twinned with over a decade ago.

Rafah is the home of HAMAS, the militant Islamic fundamentalist group responsible for hundreds of suicide bombings in Israel. HAMAS is affiliated with al-Qaida and is a world-branded terrorist organization. Ninety percent of Rafah’s population voted for HAMAS, which now rules Rafah and the Gaza Strip since the Jews left due to the hatred of Jews and violence there. Read for yourself about the HAMAS CHARTER at http://www.acpr.org.il/resources/hamascharter.html then contact Olympia’s City Council and let them know, “NO WAY.”

How about our city find a place such as Haifa, in Israel, where Arabs and Jews live in community together? A city which tolerates different religions would much better reflect Olympia’s values!

Andrea Lipper, Olympia

That is what you get when you hand your city government over to idiot leftists.

Here is the “Council Packet” in .pdf form. Scroll down to Page 3 and read the last item to be discussed on March 20th at 1900.

If you live in or near Olympia, you need to give these freaks a call. Here is the City Manager’s page with the contact info. Any city who “Sisters” up with the Paleostinians needs to be shunned, and anyone who suggests that the city do it needs to be fired.

Wednesday Movie Review

Friend and co-worker, Paul, lent this movie to me a while back and I watched it shortly thereafter, I have just been forgetting to post about it here.

HBO’s Dirty War

dwcover.jpg

I don’t do reviews very well, so here is the plotline from the above link

Amazon.com
Dirty War takes a Traffick-like approach to its subject matter: the dirty bomb or RDD (Radiation Dispersal Device). In other words, the goal of this HBO/BBC co-production is realism, not soap opera. Just as Traffick (the miniseries, not the movie) took a global look at the drug war, Dirty War takes a comprehensive look at a terrorist attack. It begins with a London-based drill before moving on to the making of several dirty bombs by Islamic fundamentalists. The action continues to alternate between any number of groups, including politicians, the press, and the general public. When the terror cell detonates a bomb in the city center, the movie tracks the aftermath, including the interrogation of a suspect. Dirty War lacks Traffick’s scope, but it does boast some of the excitement of 24 and certainly provides ample food for thought. –Kathleen C. Fennessy

Product Description
Fanatical terrorists are planning to launch a nuclear attack with a “dirty bomb,” a homemade radioactive device, in the heart of London. From Scotland Yard’s central command to a Muslim undercover detective, local authorities are operating on high alert while government agents scour the city desperately searching for the source of the threat. Every minute counts in this action-suspense thriller that addresses the question: How prepared are we for the unthinkable?

I will say that, to me at least it looks as though, on a scale of 1-to-10 in the “Realty vs Hollywood” review, this movie rates a solid 9.5 on the “Reality” side of the spectrum, with only one “Hollywood” scene right near the end that any gunnie will spot.

Go this weekend and rent it. It is only 95 minutes long and will make you want to read the By Ourselves, For Ourselves series again (new one on Monday, folks. I promise).

I’ve only seen a couple of episodes of 24 throughout it’s entire run, but this beats it, in my not so humble opinion.

Hell, I bought it.

Because everyone wants to pay $4 a gallon

HR-1500: To provide for the stabilization of prices for gasoline, and for other purposes

Ooh-kay, let’s see here: We’ve got government mandated price controls, mandated specialty blends of fuel, bans on exporting oil from the US, and last but not least, a windfall profits tax on oil companies!

But wait, there’s more!

You get a $3000 tax credit of you buy a car that gets 40mpg or more.

Oh wait, no you don’t.

You only get the $3000 if the car was made by a union-run plant in the US. Honda and Toyota’s plants are non-union, so they don’t count. And since those are the only two cars that currently qualify, you get nothing.

Add to that the sheer number of cars being put together in Mexico and Canada (and Korea, and Germany, and Japan, etc), and no one gets this credit. It is a false sales ploy for the bill

Who do we have to thank for this piece of shit?

Oregon.

Moonbat State Rep, Peter DeFazio, wants you to kiss his ass for gas.

Your papers, citizen.

Methinks something stinks about this

The old logging town of Forks is filled with independent-minded folks who “live in the middle of nowhere. And want to keep it that way,” jokes the mayor.

So it didn’t go over so well when the feds showed up last week and, in the name of fighting terrorism, made locals vouch for their citizenship. “It has created a lot of turmoil out here,” says Nedra Reed, mayor of the town of 3,200 on the far side of the Olympic Peninsula.

Starting at 8 a.m. last Thursday, federal Border Patrol agents blocked the highway outside town. For four hours, every car, truck and bus driving south on Highway 101 was pulled off the road and all passengers questioned.

While I fully support the fight to kick illegal aliens out of the country, this is entirely the wrong way to go about it.

Maybe, if the ICE dweebles would have been allowed to do their fucking jobs for the past three decades, we wouldn’t have a rampant illegal immigration problem.

Now here is what truly sticks deal in my craw.

Go to your favorite online map program and enter “Forks, Wa” and take a look at where Forks is at.

You literally cannot get any further west in the continental United States, unless you go to the Neah Bay Indian Reservation, the Lake Ozette portion of the Olympic National Park, or the town of La Push.

Why doesn’t the Fed run this “Stop and Talk” program in fuckin’ San Diego and L.A., where they might actually come across a real, live illegal alien?

Probably becuase they’d be doing some good instead of harassing the locals.

Why the left is never right

If you take a moment and stop a rabid moonbat from blathering on for longer than it takes to catch ones breath, and really talk to them (without placing your hands around their throats), one of the nicer questions to ask them is “Exactly what leads them to believe that their previously mentioned blathering doesn’t give terrorist types moral support and encouragement?”

The stock answer is that the terrorist types actually want America to go to war with them. To come to their piss-ant little countries and bomb them. This way, we create martyrs, who they can turn around and into celebrities to help boost the the terrorist’s recruiting numbers. Furthermore, they will tell you that it is the more hawkish of Americans, who actually believe in the idea of creating free peoples out of those who are enslaved via the use of force, that are actually encouraging and empowering the terrorist types.

At this point, it is OK to use your hands to converse with this obviously retarded individual. The reason for this is because after that first idiotic statement, if let to ramble on unopposed, they will then begin to become more and more insipid, going so far as to declare that America would be much better off just giving money to the terrorosts to make them go away for now (The ‘Danegeld Theorum’) and/or that the knuckledraggers whose only career option is to join the military actually kind of deserve any wounds they receive in the conflict for not being smart enough to stay out of the military as well as for being so violent.

Note: When the leftist begins to turn a shade either purple or blue, your use of hands should cease momentarily.

Now to the proof that they are wrong:

In the past few months, Islamists engaged in “media jihad” have increased their efforts to expose as broad a Western audience as possible to their jihad films, which purport to document the growing success of the mujahideen in Iraq and Afghanistan. As part of this endeavor, they have posted jihad films on popular free video-sharing websites such as YouTube, LiveLeak, and Google Video, hoping that such films will tip public opinion in the West against the war in Iraq and Afghanistan – thus pressuring Western governments to withdraw their troops from these countries.

As part of the campaign to foster anti-war sentiment among Westerners, and more specifically among Americans, a member of the Al-Mohajroon Islamist website with the username Al-Wathiq Billah instructed mujahideen in how to infiltrate popular American forums and to use them to distribute jihad films and spread disinformation about the war.

Yet another point of fact that the radical Muslim terror mindset follows “The Enemy of My Enemy is My Friend” way of thinking to the letter.

Propaganda

Where they lie to you straight to your face!

And the ravin’ bleat smells like a bike seat,

When the bullshit spreads all over the place!

Propaganda is exactly what I would call this festering pustule of an editorial on the Zumbo Kerfuffle from Ray Schoenke, President of the “American Hunters and Shooters Association”, the gun control supporting group masquerading as a gun rights group.

He is attempting to rewrite the history of the situation by saying that it was all the NRA’s doing and that without them, no one would have read what Zumbo said, let alone gotten upset about it.

It kind of makes you wonder just how stupid this guy thinks the general populace of hunters and shooters are. Zumbo is portrayed in Schoenke’s editorial as a widely read hunting writer. Yet without the NRA, there would have been no kerfuffle.

By the way, did you know that, according to Schoenke in his editorial, you and I are “a rabid, fringe element of the hunting community”?

I wonder if the Seattle Times would publish a well worded rebuttal from Wayne LaPierre?

Oh wait! What am I thinking? Of course they wouldn’t.
