Propaganda is exactly what I would call this festering pustule of an editorial on the Zumbo Kerfuffle from Ray Schoenke, President of the “American Hunters and Shooters Association”, the gun control supporting group masquerading as a gun rights group.
He is attempting to rewrite the history of the situation by saying that it was all the NRA’s doing and that without them, no one would have read what Zumbo said, let alone gotten upset about it.
It kind of makes you wonder just how stupid this guy thinks the general populace of hunters and shooters are. Zumbo is portrayed in Schoenke’s editorial as a widely read hunting writer. Yet without the NRA, there would have been no kerfuffle.
By the way, did you know that, according to Schoenke in his editorial, you and I are “a rabid, fringe element of the hunting community”?
I wonder if the Seattle Times would publish a well worded rebuttal from Wayne LaPierre?
Oh wait! What am I thinking? Of course they wouldn’t.
