The jockeying for positions commenced for last year’s attendees at 6pm Pacific time this evening, and this year the RNS Crew has reserved Positions 73, 74, 75 and 76 on the West End.
Oh, and Joe pointed out that Michael Bane’s Boomershoot episode of Shooting Gallery is showing this week.

Cool! I’ll play around with that. IIRC you weren’t expecting to be the one making that shot and were feeling the pressure of being on national TV. Nicely done!
Yeah, not going this year. I’m involved in some ongoing political things having to do with defending my retired pay, and I will be busy in the Legislature between now and probably June. Setting up a lobbying group is not the easiest thing in the world to do.
If you tune Portland TeeVee, you will likely see me. I expect that the novelty of a conservative, anti-union guy fighting the conservative establishment for his pension rights (yes, it’s a CONTRACT!) will be a media curiosity, and the PERS Army fight is all about managing the media….and just to make the point that I AM a conservative, I might have to not only drive my M35 to the Capitol on several occasions, I will probably have to wear an appropriate gunny t-shirt while doing it!
BTW, be aware of the mud just below those positions on the West end. That mud WILL suck you down…
