My personal favorite, good old Ludwig Van. Yes, it’s heresy to imagine the first four-and-a-half-minutes, vocal and instrumental parts alike, arranged for a men’s chorus and being belted out to the thumps of steins in a German beer hall. I don’t care. If I have to arrange it myself it will be done before I die.
