The Soundboard: “And The” Edition

But first, a Moving Update!

Nearly done. The landlord has found new tenants already and has offered to prorate our last month’s rent if we can be out early so he can replace the 20year old copper and brown carpet and put on a fresh coat of paint.

Seeing as how we don’t have to clean the carpets before we leave now, I’m hoping to hand the keys over to him tomorrow.

On a side note, moving safes is a royal PITA, but moving my ammo supply is nearly as bad. The wooden crates are heavy, but they have handles. Moving the cardboard boxes is what sucks. Also, remember to wear gloves for the handling of the ammo cans so that you can carry four .50cals or six .30cals at a time.

I must say though, that my timing is impeccable. Hauling a truck bed full of ammo on a snow day gets you that extra traction you need.

I probably don’t need to mention it as you already guessed, with all the moving of small items and the cleaning over the last week, I still haven’t gotten around to unpacking the hard drives or the CD’s.

So we’ll be continuing the “Classic Rock” theme of the past couple week.

Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band – Night Moves

My Chevy was a 77.

And

George Thorogood and the Delaware Destroyers – Who do you love?

Actually, I think Biden has done more to destroy Delaware than any of these guys.

I’ll finally be assembling the blog-desk over the weekend, which means I’ll be able to find at least the hard drives. That means that I’ll be posting the Christmas tunage all next week.

In the meantime, enjoy!

Congrats with the move! Ammo + snow day = traction, nice (not that I need it much here)!
