That’s some crazy Macgyver stuff that is.
Technically an alternator, that generates power, but it is too early to nitpick a good ideas title.
Well, that would give you 12V power for a long time, with a barrel of gas in reserve. Sure would be useful for keeping emengency comm in operation!
