Yep

I half-assed it last week around here. Sorry about that, but let me tell you why.

Work has been very busy. Let me tell you how busy.

It’s been so busy that I did not realize until 1915 last night on my way to work that I posted The Soundboard tunage a day late.

Our deliveries this September are still at July levels. And if I may put on my leftist hat for a moment (which is very easy as I’m surrounded by them): Thank you George W. Bush. Thank you for cutting taxes which helped keep the economy humming along so swiftly that I have to work 13-14 hours a day to keep up with the billing at my work. Normally, I would only be this busy during the “Summer Building Season” of May through August. But because of your actions, I’m still working this much in September and am highly likely to be doing this in October. Thanks.

I’ll be going out car shoppin’ (which is one of my favorite activities, right up there with rangetime) later this AM, but before I go, I’d like to post up some stuff I’ve found really interesting but haven’t had time to post about.

The whole fallout from Dan Rather’s lawsuit is really just about causing me to laugh myself to death. Not only is Rather an idiot who is going to go down in flames, fighting a fight that he cannot hope to win in any sense of the word as defined by mentally stable people, the moonbatinati is getting themselves worked up into a lather over it.

And the funniest part about this development is that they seem to have forgotten their last line on the matter from right after the 2004 elections. “Fake, But Accurate” is no longer good enough for them, and are now pursuing a line of “Real and dead accurate and probably a ChimpyMcCheneyburtRovian scheme”.

The other surprise development that I’m enjoying this week is the shit rolling downhill from that Move On “Betray Us” ad. There was the vote in the Senate, which Hillarity voted for and Obama couldn’t gather up the balls to even cast a vote on.

To add to all the nonsense from the actual politicos, you’ve got the wannabe kingmakers in the leftosphere demanding that the pols support MoveOn’s ad or the Nutroots will stop sending money to the pols and divert it to MoveOn. Also, the Nutroots are threatening, in their own sort of cute little way, to run Primary challengers against the pols who don’t put their support 100% behind MoveOn.

Back after the 2006 elections, MoveOn’s leader declared that his group “Owned the Democrat Party”. Now they want their fealty.

The Senate vote became just another pledge drive for MoveOn, who declared themselves the victims. They raised $500K from the Nutroots because of it.

I hope that they spend every single dime on newspaper and TV ads just like the one they did on Patraeus. I want America to see who is empowering today’s Democrat Party. I want the Dems to have to defend where they get their money from in the public forum, even if it only gets the 10% coverage from the MSM that crooked Dems usually get.

And to the Nutroots, give, give, give, I say. Show those Democrats you mean business. Pressure them into making unpopular statements and jeopardizing their reelections. Please. The Repubs keep stepping on their dicks, but crap like this from the Nutroots and MoveOn makes it only feel like they’re doing it while wearing slippers.

And now, if you’ll excuse me, I have a forest murdering 4×4 to go and scope out for purchase. Wish me luck.
