The leader of the Klueless Kos Klan sees the ‘Compromise’ on judicial positions as a defeat for Democrats, but not because three of Bush’s nominees will, more than likely, be confirmed. He sees it as the Republicans controlling the ‘Democrat Agenda’.
I didn’t know they actually had one other than “Bush is an Eevviill Idiot�.
So now there is talk about a Democrat ‘compromise’ on Bush’s Social Security plan, and Kos doesn’t like that one bit.
Why any Democrat would want to give bush “half a victory” rather than an anvil is beyond me, and completely and utterly unacceptable. Here’s an issue we have used to drive Bush and his allies into the ground. Here’s an issue that we can ride to major electoral gains in 2006.
He then goes on to stamp his wittle feet even more with a blockquote from Liberal Oasis’ Bill Sheer. You should go read it, even though it is as insipid as it is unrealistic.
Basically, the Dems have no plan and they like it that way. They are also willing to threaten their moderates to keep them with the party line.
But according to Kos and Krew, it is only the Republicans that always punish those who do not march in lockstep, never the Democrats. Watch for more switching of parties and big Congresional losses in 2006 if they keep this up.
