The JunkYardBlog has a link to an interesting piece of actual investigative journalism. It deals with Terry Nichols role in the Oklahoma City Bombing and about the FBI/ATFE/whatever only recently finding bomb making materials at Nichols’ residence almost a decade after the last time they searched it. I knew the alphabet soup agencies were sloppy and/or lazy, but geez louise!

Anyway, the article liked to above also goes a little deeper into what Nichols might have been doing on his trip to the Phillipines shortly before the attack on the Federal Center in OKC.

It points to the fact that the mastermind behind the 1993 WTC bombing was operating out of the Philippines at the time and gives food for thought on that subject, among other things.

While I am not normally one to entertain conspiracy theories, but I keep having a tugging thought in the back of my head that says the Clinton Administration knew all this about McVeigh and Nichols but chose to keep it under wraps so as to not have to go to war with the Islamofascists and ruin the economic prosperity of the mid-90’s with a war.

With that plan, they could not only make the federal hunting of white men with guns their #1 priority, they could also play a weak connection to a minor league white supremacist group to the hilt.

It just seems like too close a play from their book to be completely disallowed out of hand.

But then again, there are way to many independent parties in this game to not have any of that leak out if it were true.

But I’m not saying it would surprise me if it was.
