Father’s Day Booty

uh-oh.gif

Good Sunday, Gentlemen. Happy Father’s Day. I trust that you enjoyed the offerings yesterday.

Today we’re going to focus what gifts you might receive today. We’re going to skip the ones you’ll probably be getting from your kids; ties you won’t wear, cologne you can’t stand, tools you already have, etc.

Today’s focus will be on the gifts from the spousal unit.

Gifts like,

Off to the Range

I gots me some new weaponry that I have to get sighted in today. I’ll be meeting a co-worker and, after a dry range spell, Mollbot for a goodly portion of the day and sending the projectiles flying downrange.

We’ll also be taking part in Og the Neanderpundit’s Postal Match

Targets are due by Monday. Here are this weeks rules.

June 18th

High powered rifle, scope up to 20 power, 100 yards. Nintey points max, one shot per bullseye, nine shots, ten points each. A round in or touching a bullseye is a hit, everything else is a miss.

Killiards! 22 rifle, up to 4x scope, 25 yards. Fifteen shots. One shot per billiard ball. More than one hole per ball counts as a zero. Bullethole may be anywhere on the ball. 120 points max.

You will need to go to Og’s place and print out the specialized targets.

If I remember correctly, you can practice as many times as you want, but you can only go for the gusto once and that is the target you turn in.

It’s the Honor System, gentlemen.

Also, don’t forget, when you’re done perusing the goods here at RNS, head on over to the latest installment of The Carnival of Cordite, taking place this week at the Techno Gypsy.

See you all tomorrow!

Whoa Daddy!

uh-oh.gif

As a Professor of Booty Theory, I have had many chances to meet women available for marriage, but even after all these years, I have not taken the opportunity to take the vows of matrimony.

I guess what I am trying to say is that I am not a ‘Father’ and have never really celebrated the holiday.

Now, while I do not plan on changing those facts, they will not keep me from giving Fathers around the world celebratory material. Over this weekend, I will be bringing you some of my Spankable Ladies who are worthy of a verbal ‘Wooo Mama!’

So get the wife, have her take the kids out of the immediate area, preferably to the park or the Chuck E. Cheese. These will be tasteful, yet still very NSFWWMGAEK (Not Safe For Work, Wife, Mom, Grandma And Especially Kids).

And without further ado, or comment….Enjoy, Gentlemen.

Going around the law

A couple years back, the Republicans and other conservatives in Washington State used the Citizens Initiative process to put an initiative on the ballot that removed all affirmative action requirements from all government hiring and contracts as well as admissions to state schools.

It was titled I-200 and it passed with 64% support.

Last year, as he was vying for the Presidency of the University of Washignton position, since he was leaving the Governor’s Masion, Gary ‘Gridlocke’ Locke tried to get the legislature to tweak I-200 so that the ‘racial quotas in schools’ portion would go away. He desperately wanted the University President position. So much so that he also tried to put in a new tax (on, I believe, gasoline) so as to get the schools, namely the universitites, more money to play around with.

Thankfully, he failed miserably, just as he did in most other things.

But now the University of Washington believes they may have found a way around the lowly citizens voices.

The University of Washington has quietly met with state lawmakers and Gov. Christine Gregoire to talk about becoming more like a private university — and charging much higher tuition.

The idea would be to increase financial aid to students on a sliding scale based on income to help offset a large increase in tuition.

There are skeptics wary of such a move, but university officials pitch it as a kind of Robin Hood plan, where the families of rich students pay more to help subsidize tuition for students from middle- and low-income families.

I guess progressive taxation isn’t enough for the socialists running the UW, they now want to punish those families who make more money by charging them and their children double tuition.

Forget nuking Berkley, nuke the U-Dub.

Someone send this man a history book, please

The leader of the Klueless Kos Klan remarks on Richard ‘The Dickster’ Durbin’s remarks on the floor of the Senate during the discussion of the energy bill,

The story from right-wing rag Washington Times earlier tonight sported this headline:

Durbin Calls Gitmo a Death Camp

Except he didn’t call it a death camp.

So they changed it to: Gitmo called death camp

Which is interesting, because no one has called it a “death camp”.

OK, maybe I missed something here but, what exactly was a gulag, Kos?

PeTA Kills Animals

I want these guys sentenced to CONSECUTIVE terms in prison.

Two individuals from Hampton Roads, employees of the Norfolk-based People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, were arrested Wednesday night in Ahoskie, N.C., on animal cruelty charges.

The two were arrested after authorities allege they dumped dead dogs and cats in a dumpster at a shopping center on Memorial Drive in Ahoskie.

Andrew Benjamin Cook, 24, of Virginia Beach, and Adria Joy Hinkle, 27, of Norfolk, were arrested at the shopping center. Police say they found 18 dead animals in the dumpster and 13 dead animals in the couple’s van, which according to authorities, is registered to PETA. Both suspects were charged with 31 counts of animal cruelty and eight counts of illegal disposal of animals.

According to police, the animals were from two North Carolina animal shelters – one in Northampton County and the other in Bertie County.
Officials say the animals were alive when they left the shelters, but have not said how they died.

If Virginia is anything like Washington, each count of ‘Cruelty’ carries a one year sentence. I think 31 years would teach these hypocritical bastards, and their friends, a good lesson.

On another note, if an insect is a bird is a rat is a dog is a person, and that is what these yahoos believe, can we just send them to jail for life?

Because life is so much safer in Canada

Take a moment to watch the video at contained at this link.

Spoiler alert! Video includes: a meth-head under the influence, a stolen F-150, a dozen damaged vehicles and *gasp* a handgun in Canada, all recorded on video from inside the vehicle.

You see, it was a Vancouver, British Columbia Police ‘Bait Car’.

This guy went on a rampage and then got out of the vehicle AND STOLE ANOTHER ONE because the department’s “Procedural Rules wouldn’t allow them to shut the car off and lock him in.

Oh yeah. Sure. Canada is so much safer than America.

The Soundboard: Sucker for a Hook Series

Part 2

So last week at this time I intro’d most of you all to europop circa Y2K, which is an eternity in party circles. This week, we’re gonna get a little more recent.

First up, since I screwed up the link to the local high school’s radio station, here is a new link to Nathan Hale High School’s KNHC webcast. This morning they’re in the middle of their ‘Save the Wave’ 80’s New Wave music show. If you get in their quick, you could be taken back to a land of neon and sythesizers.

But back to this week’s selection:

My, My, My – Armand Van Helden

And you thought last week’s selection was repetitive.

This one just straight up kicks my ass, especially the one mix I like to call the Enduromix. 28 minutes long with multiple fades, rhythm changes and beats up to 210BPM.

This one is barely seven minutes long, but still kicks ass. No, I don’t know if that is Michael Jackson on vox, I bought the mp3, not the album.

The Wave

Yes, there was an earthquake off the California/Oregon coast last night; and yes, I got 45 minutes of Tsunami warnings on the radio.

But that was it.

45 minutes of warnings that were cancelled as abruptly as they had been issued.

Rivrdog, who lives in northern Oregon got more warnings and his daughter who lives closer to the epicenter was nearly forced from her apartment.

Rivrdog has the tale of what ensued. It is a must read of true lunkheadedness.

So as to try and brighten up his day when he gets here, I would like to offer him some actual good news,

Boeing has installed a new set of avionics equipment that will keep the B-52 effective and in the air for at least another decade.

b52hstratofortress.jpg

For $8.6 million, we do not have to do extensive testing of a new flight design *cough*ditch the F-22*cough*, all we have to do is bring the big birds into the shop, wham, bam, thank you maam (or sir as the case may be) and away we go into the middle of the 21st Century.

How cool is that!

It really is a mental defect

At least if I read this post from Dr. Sanity correctly.

He tells a story detailing the condition “Beautiful Indifference” being suffered ny a ‘Mrs. O’Hara’ and relates it to the MSM.

Curiously, because they are journalists, and I would think that journalistic instincts are easily aroused by curiosity, the crop of journalists we must deal with today seem to be suffering from a form of mass hysteria. Their journalistic insticts; their curiosity; their “nose” for a story has been severely impaired–almost paralyzed you could say, and they don’t much seem to care!

Even if you don’t read the story about ‘Mrs. O’Hara’, you need to go and see the chart he created.

I’d say that it is funny because it is true, but while it is ture, it sure as hell isn’t funny.
