Cool. I remember this. Sad that I know my daughter’s generation has never seen its like in school.

I have a lot of the Schoolhouse Rock songs on my Zune. When I drive places with the kids, I often choose the “Kids” category, and we listen to things like that, and “No More Kings,” and those about the nervous system and parts of speech. The 7 year old has “Interjections” pretty well memorized, almost as well as Johnny Horton’s “Sink the Bismark.” They may not get them in school, but they get them. 🙂
That’s a fantastic idea, Rolf! I will begin collecting them myself. I’m getting awfully sick of Elmo and Friends at this point anyway…
The Schoolhouse Rock series is also available on DVD. Just go hit Tam’s Amazon link and search. Comes right up.
My kids watched the DVD. Of course, my kids also go to .22 rifle classes at the club.
