I accompanied the wife to her dissertation defense and she performed brilliantly. Dissertation approved pending minor edits, which is what we expected, and which also means she’s an Ed.D. in all respects except having the paper in hand, which will take a few months (it’s a school bureaucracy, after all).
We’re both exhausted, but I thought I’d bring out this old favorite, as it expresses my feelings exactly. Crank it, of course.
