   This is a worse scam than the AlGore “carbon credit” indulgences.

   The problem with this scam is that Pure Farking Majik doesn’t work in accounting, so some REAL money to subsidize these individual solar installations will have to be found, and FAST.

   As one commenter to that article pointed out, other, non-solar-equipped ratepayers will be required to make up the difference, and everyone’s electric rates will soar.

   I know this crap is true because while I was on my Road Trip in AZ, I ran across a retired guy who had just put a 5kw solar set on his home. The installation cost $28,000 actual dollars to put in, but of that, this guy is only paying just over $8K out of HIS pocket, which means that taxpayers and ratepayers are soaking up the other $20K.

   Additionally, by putting in solar, this guy is now in some preferred class of ratepayer, and he KEEPS getting subsidized. We talked about it over breakfast with about 5 other retired folk present, and the consensus of the group was that the Government is using Pure Farking Majik here, and that consensus included several Democrats.

   This crap is probably a worse threat than Health Care to the financial and physical stability of our Nation.
