Dear President Obama,
Thank you for helping my neighbors with their mortgage payments. You know, the one’s down the street who in the good times refinanced their house several times and bought SUV’s, ATV’s, RV”s, a pool, a big screen, two Wave Runners and a Harley. But I was wondering, since I am paying my mortgage and theirs, could you arrange for me to borrow the Harley now and then?

I got a call from The Mom yesterday from which I learned that my brother’s ex-wife is in exactly the same state of predicament as the above mentioned neighbors. I’m of a mind to think that the conversation she initiated with The Mom was a financial fishing expedition.
But The Mom thinks it is just because I never could stand the sight of her (and when she’d open her mouth, I ‘d start looking for a cat to stuff into it).
