Among the sadly dwindling team of reporters covering the Legislature, some are showing impatience with the pace and transparency of budget deliberations. This late in the game, it’s fair to assume that one of two things is true: Either there’s a plan for resolving the shortfall and no one’s willing to talk about it, or there’s no plan and no one’s willing to admit it.
