Today will see the arrival of eight members of The Wife’s family from Big Sky Country, with five of them being 12 years of age or under.
Posting from me may be light throughout next week, though it all depends on just how out and about they all are (this is their family vacation and we’re acting as home base). Either way, don’t get downhearted, David says he’s got a decent amount of stuff lined up.
So until tomorrow AM, I’m off childproofing Firebase Blue in preparation of fifty little fingers.
There is an advantage to getting on in years, I guess. With no grandkids, this sort of thing does not happen at Schloss Rivrdog. In fact, the youngest kid anywhere in the extended fambly is now 13….
