Boomershoot Picture of the Day No. 3

Looks far, doesn’t it? The closest targets are no longer placed along the “creek” near the van as in the photo above; instead they’re at the treelined berm, 385 yards out. And it gets tougher from there as they go up the hill behind.

    Not only is the closer target area not used but the shooters line has been moved back about 25 yards as well. Targets at the tree-line used to be 350 yards away instead of 375.

    Also notice the size of the berms in this picture. Almost non-existent. We thought the bullets would be stopped by the little mounds of dirt and the hillside in the background. With tracers we discovered this was not the case and made the berms much larger.
