e-Postal Match Announcement

First up, today is the last day for submitting your targets for the rifle portion of the postal matches. Get ‘em in today and I’ll post the results at this time next week for all to see.

Now check out part two,

If you haven’t already seen them, Mr. Completely has already released his pistol drill, and it is a challenging son of a gun (if you’ll excuse the expression).

It is most definitely fun, but still challenging.

I’ll be trying my hand at it on this upcoming Saturday after shooing some bowling pins and pin tops.

Go read the specs and give it a shot!

Took a group of 4 male and 2 female shooters (2 of the group brand new to shooting) to the range this weekend for some handgun work. After a couple hours of handgun fun, we men set down for a carbine session with your postal match targets, at which point my Rossi 62 SAC pump-action .22 refused to feed. And none of us were good enough to even begin hitting Mr. Completely’s flies at 10 yards with pistols, so it was a big zero on both of y’all’s postal matches this weekend for our little group. But I’m betting I’ll have six or seven of my compadres submitting for your next match!

e-Postal Match Announcement

Hello Ladies and gentlemen.

This week’s match is linked here, but I would ask that you please read this short introduction beforehand. Thank you.

I would like to welcome you to the first of what I hope will be a long running series of internet based firearms competitions. These will be for fun only and should not be taken overly seriously because super-serious people do not have a whole lot of fun.

One item I would like to stress that should always be taken very seriously is firearms safety. ALWAYS treat EVERY firearm as if it were loaded, ALWAYS keep your finger OFF of the trigger until you are ready to shoot and NEVER point a firearm at anything you do not wish to destroy.
