More on Gingrich – Churchill

Steven Hayward, who’s been generous in donating autographed books to the annual Soldiers’ Angels Project VALOUR-IT benefit raffle at Boomershoot, is the author of one of my favorite books on Churchill, specifically, on Churchill and leadership. So the same day I posted about the Churchill/Gingrich parallels, I shot Steven a Facebook message inquiring if he might opine on the subject someday soon. He replied that he was seriously thinking about doing so.

Today, he did.

Reactions ensued, and he responded.

All interesting, and worth your time, I think.

That’s a lot to weed through in search of any meaning.

  2. Lyle says:

How about; Newt has been on the Progressive side of just about any issue people would see as a key issue, and he seems to really like Teddy Roosevelt – a Progressive revolutionary?

Newt is a smart man, as far as I can tell, and he kows a lot about history so I figure he should be teaching a history class somewhere.
