Following our seventh wedding anniversary last night, the wife and I decided for dinner today that we’d walk doggies down to the local Subway and eat our sandwiches on the grass in the adjacent park — a very pleasant triangle with a public vineyard and large sun-dappled meadow bordered by tall redwoods. We’re sort of starting on the Jared diet — the wife is jealous of my hospital-induced weight loss, and six-inch subs for lunch & dinner every day helped some friends of ours lose a lot of fat in a short time, so we’ll give it a try. Lazing in the grass with doggies makes it perfect.
