He Ah-Mad man

Ahmadenijahd spoke at Columbia University yesterday.

I may have missed it on the news so fill me in if I’m wrong here but, I don’t remember hearing about anyone storming the stage and throwing a pie at him. Or even storming the stage at all. Hell, he didn’t even get a crowd shouting down his redirected non-answers.

I guess I shouldn’t find it strange that the student body of Columbia University find Ann Coulter and The Minutemen more threatening that the man who wants to nuke the Judaism of the planet.

And how did the left-o-sphere take to him?

Another FDL first stringer, Scarecrow, is mad at Scott Pelly of 60 Minutes

CBS 60 Minutes interviews President Ahmadinejad, who seems a better listener than the idiot who interviewed him. My take: The Iranian has much to answer for, but Scott Pelley was so arrogant and insulting in his questioning, prejudging expected answers before hearing them, that it probably convinced the Iranian that it is pointless to talk to Americans. I wouldn’t waste 5 minutes with CBS’s Scott Pelley. Where are the adults? Where is Christiane Amanpour?

Yeah, that is is just what America needs to see, Amanpour figuratively going down on Mahmoud on the television.

Also from that last link, Ezra Klein and Glenn “The Puppetmaster” Greenwald, as well as Juan Col in his usual whine.

I guess you have to actually invade a country to get the dander up on these folks. Repeatedly yelling for Israel to be wiped off the face of the planet and funding proxy wars just doesn’t do it for them.

Over at the dKos Animal Farm and Petting Zoo, they were making a day of it.

They complain about the way the media is ‘handling’ his visit

They even hosted a poll asking which person would make a better President of the United States: Bush or Mahmoud.

Btw, as of this writing, 35% of the Kossites have voted for Ahmadenijad.

Remember, and tell every one you know, that not only do these people consider themselves the reasonable center of the Democrat Party, but the Chairman of the DNC, Howard Dean, does as well.
