But do take a read of James Delingpole’s idea of “The Dogshit Yougurt Fallacy”.
You’ll never compromise again.

Didn’t find anything I liked.
So more snow-wheelin’
This time, to Elk Lake, OR.
So I’m watching the national news and seeing everyone, everywhere else (or damn near as makes no matter) get piles of white powdery global warming dumped on them while we got 12 hours worth of four inches of quickly gone snow. More than half of which was at night.
And they’re complaining. So I’m complaining.
C’mon Ma Nature. Send that shit where it’s welcome and appreciated. You gave Portland a good tossing and they haven’t the faintest idea what to do with it other than say it means the planet is getting warmer.
It has been far too long since I’ve been fender deep and having to use my grill as a plow. Like this guy.
If you’re sick of your snow, you now know where you can pray it towards.
And yes, I went to play in the “high-hidden”. There was not enough of it and there were fools getting stuck and blocking every-damn-thing. I was a universal recovery vehicle. I want it so that they’re afraid to take their H2’s and Honda Passports out of their cul-de-sacs.
Buddy demands it!
Just look at how sad he is. Sitting there, not even wheel rim deep in the crusty stuff.
She would like to add herself to it.
Alex Sink is running for the US House seat in the 13th District in Florida. During an interview, she mentioned how wonderful she thought it was that, under the new Obamacare rules, people could work less.
Part of me is wondering if this wasn’t some crafty plan to flood local elections with Democrats. Seeing as how Democrats are more likely to take advantage of getting to work less and still keep their health insurance, they will have the free time to repeatedly run for local, state and low-level national offices until they lie well enough to get elected.
To a high school near you!
Alternate Title: Yet another reason to send your son to a Trade School.
Are nearly all male students at the University of Maryland “potential rapists”?
Women in a feminist art class here apparently believe so. About 10 of them plastered the campus with fliers last week listing the names of virtually every male student under the heading, “NOTICE: THESE MEN ARE POTENTIAL RAPISTS.”
Their decision to walk the murky line between libel and free speech sent the campus into an uproar. Yesterday, reporters, photographers and TV crews flocked to the sprawling campus in search of outraged students on both sides of the issue.
University officials are trying to determine whether some members of the “Current Issues in Feminist Art” class or their teacher violated their codes of conduct, said Roland H. King, the university’s spokesman.
I know that if it were my photo on one of those posters, I would be serving them with papers.
This is why there are no “Masculinism” courses. A smart man would take these women’s photos and put them on posters stating “These women are potential prostitutes”
I’ll keep that under consideration.
Otherwise known as the “Just because it looks like Mecca does not mean Mecca can be found nearby” law.

So the editors of the Hartford Courant want the constabulary of the various jurisdictions in Connecticut to use the background check database to see if they can figure out who hasn’t registered their “assault weapons” under the new law.
First of all, I am sure, now that they have come out in favor of rounding up private citizens for disobeying the authorities under a questionably unconstitutional law, would be the first to line up to register themselves for a Journalism License.
Secondly, they do understand that, even in CT, the background check doesn’t actually refer to the type of firearm they purchased, right? And just how far are they willing to go back in the records search? “Assault Weapons” have been sold for decades.
Also, the MSM has a wonderful time telling average consumers that “registration doesn’t lead to confiscation” and that anyone who believes it will is just “paranoid” or “crazy”. This idea of their would seem to refute that.
Last week, our latest Democrat Governor, Jay Inslee, suspended the execution of convicts on Washington’s Death Row.
What makes this move particularly odd is the, in past campaigns for the US House of Representatives, Inslee spoke in favor of the death penalty. My guess is that with Democrats currently sucking wind nationally, and particularly so in the state, he needed something to shore up his base.
You can take a looksee here to see the fine, upstanding individuals currently waiting for the hangman’s noose or the prick of the needle in our Walla Walla penitentiary. Since all of them killed women, you’d figure the NOW crowd would want Inslee’s head. But no. Not so oddly, if you follow crime statistics, most of them were bludgeoned to death.
On the day after this order came down, I was listening to a radio show before class and heard one of the anti-capital punishment folks on the radio using the argument that we didn’t put serial killers like Gary Ridgway (Green River Killer) on Death Row, and the host neglected to point out that, while they SHOULD be there, their confessions in exchange for life without parole not only saved Washington taxpayers millions of dollars, but also helped some of the families of the victims recover their remains.
I just found it odd that a professional would leave a door to refuting why capital punishment was useful open so wide.
A surprisingly low number of female, black and hispanic students took the Advanced Placement Computer Science exam last year. If you work for the HuffPo, the numbers are “troubling“.
It is a short piece, for slow minded people. People who do not realize that life is all about personal choices. Choices that can lead you to prosperity. Or to stagnation. Or even to harm.
That too many women, blacks and hispanics decided that Computer Science was too hard or too boring or what have you to bother to even attempt to take an exam, while surprising to me, simply shows that these groups have been brainwashed into believing at least one of the following things: That they are not smart enough to be the future of engineering; Or that phony fields such as “wymens studies”, “african-american studies” or “hispanic studies” are just as lucrative.
Of course, none of this matters since, within the month, some “wymens studies”, “african-american studies” or “hispanic studies” professor will have found a way to blame this all on Republicans. This, despite the fact that the majority of these students have been taught by unionized, female teachers their whole lives.
